I saw online the cutest little idea of putting a baby in a wrapped box to look like they were a present and knew I needed to try it with Addie. So I set-up some Christmas lights, a sheet, wrapped a box with wrapping paper, put a bow on it, undressed Addie down to her diaper, put a Santa hat on her, put her in a box and then there was so much crying and tears I couldn't help myself but to sit back and laugh. All that time and effort and my little model wanted NOTHING to do with it. She didn't want to be in the box, smile or take any pictures for me. Oh Addie. By some miracle I managed to get one good one on my phone but I'll include the outtakes this time for you. At least Owen was cooperative!

Lights, Camera ... CRY
Tis the season for bows, wrapping paper, presents and posing babies for a little christmas amateur photoshoot right?

Poor Adelyn. When she grows up and is terrified to go into small places, it will probably be because I tried to stuff her into a pumpkin on halloween and put her in a box for Christmas. I guess that's what happens when you are at just the perfect age to try to get the perfect pinterest picture and they are only little for so long right? Hopefully she will just block these out of her memory and look back at the magical pictures she created instead! At least I can hope right?
