Touch A Truck

In the middle of August, Owen, Addie, my mom and I went to an awesome free Touch-A-Truck in Springfield near my parents house. I have taken Owen to a couple before, but this one by far blew the other ones out of the water. They had so many different types of trucks that the kids could sit in, drive the steering wheel, honk the horn --- I mean we are taking making little boys and girls dreams come true. And these were the newest, cleanest trucks I have ever seen, even I wanted to check them out. It isn't often you get to get very close to a garbage truck, dump truck, fire engine, massive tow-truck, news truck, bobcat -- pretty much you name it they had it. Owen sat in every truck and didn't want to leave. His favorite was the garbage truck and this little Coast Guard electronic boat! It was so well done and I'm so happy we got to go.

 First truck: Fire truck
The wheels were bigger then him!
I think this was an army rescue truck
Sitting in the back of an ambulance
 Vroom Vroom
 Peek-a-boo I see you
 Little buggy
He got a kick out of the news truck
He even gave a nice little news report
I mean look at this tow truck --- its HUGE
 Riding in the dump truck
 So shinny
 Learning about the garbage truck
 Beep beep
This was the little Coast Guard boat. It was controlled by a remote but had a speaker to make it seem like it was talking and zooming around by itself. The man controlling it did a great job hiding so the kids thought this was the coolest thing ever
And it blinked, posed for pictures and squirted water, does it get any better?
 Checking out the tracker
 Forklift time
 Trying out the jet ski
 And the Zamboni
The bobcat was a little tricky to get in so I helped him out
 Checking out all the controls
 Grammie and Addie
 My pretty princess
