"Fun Fair"

After the Touch-A-Truck event we went back to my parents house for a little bit, then got ready to go to the Annual Westfield Fair which is only about a half a mile from their house. We got there right in time to watch the demolition derby, which Owen LOVED! The little cars drove all around driving into each other until only one car was still drivable. We only lasted the first event, but Owen thought it was pretty cool to watch real live bumper cars get crushed by each other.

Watching the derby 

 Crush, crash, bang 

After the derby we walked over to the barns to check out the animals. One of the barns had ice cream cones filled with animal feed for a $1. We bought Owen a cone and before I could get my phone out of my pocked to take pictures, the baby bull reached right through his gate and ate the whole cone right out of his hands. We all looked in shocked and then giggles started rolling out, silly bull he was a piggy! So I bought Owen another cone and we stayed away from Mr. Piggy and went to feed the other animals. (Fun fact: Addie was strapped to me in the baby bjorn facing out and as soon as we walked into the barn she started crying. I'm not sure if the animals scared her or what but it was surprising from our usually happy baby).

 He thought the animals eating out of his hand was so funny 

 And the giggles he let out were infectious

After the animals it was onto the rides -- Owen favorite. Grammie spoiled him and bought him a whole sheet of tickets, he was in heaven. He made sure to go on every ride, some rides twice and luckily Eric was their to go on with him as I don't do spinning ones. He even went on the scrambler and was all smiles the whole time. He has no fear this one ;).

 The slide was by far his favorite. He went on this ride at least 4 times and wanted to go by himself, we told him maybe next year

 And baby Addie was a trooper the whole time 

After the rides we grabbed an ice cream and called it a night. Owen kept talking about how much fun he had at Grammie's "fun fair." In fact in the times we have driven by it since he asks me when the fair is coming back and then fallows it with, "Maybe tomorrow Mommy."
