Time is flying one month at a time. Little Adelyn is 5 months old! She is still working on figuring out this sleeping thing. The 4 month sleep regression was no joke and was pretty terrible but I'm hoping we are on the upswing and hopefully she will be adding more and more minutes to her sleep routine.
Stats:
No height, weight or head measurements this month, but I will have them next month after her doctors appointment
Eyes: Blue
Diapers: Size 3
Cloths: size 6-12 month or 9 months
Milestones:
She prefers to be in the sitting position or standing
Loves loves loves to chew on pretty much anything and everything
Instead of bouncing in the doorway jumper she likes to swing in it like a swing outside. Hey, whatever works right?
Speaking of swings, she now swings at the park and gives the most precious giggles when her big brother Owen pushes her
She loves bath time -- it has taken a while but she finally enjoys the relaxing joys of floating in the water -- or more like kicking and chewing on any toy Owen will share with her. She is a tricky one with the kicking, you can't take your eyes off of her for even a second because even being confined in the baby tub she will go under, I don't remember this with Owen
She has maybe rolled from her belly to back 4 times, and is just not into it right now
Takes 3 or 4 naps during the day depending on what time she wakes up
Likes to sleep on her left side. I lay her down on her back but she usually instantly rolls onto her side and wraps her blanket around her
Generally she is a very happy baby who goes with the flow and adjusts to our crazy day to day schedule now that preschool has started
