Happy Birthday Lexi!

Today our furbaby turns 5! It is crazy that she is already 5 years old. I still remember very vividly picking her out, taking her up to Endicott because Eric was coaching a Volleyball Camp, we picked out her name, she cried for half of the night not understanding where she was or why she was in a cage, but over the weeks she soon realized just how much she loved us and we loved her equally as much. She has continuously brought us joy and our little family wouldn't be the same without her.

I remember before Owen was born worrying if she would be okay with sharing the spotlight and how she would do with another Hunter added to her family. Well she certainly wiped away any of my worries and has become best friends with Owen. In fact sometimes Owen forgets that he is in fact not a dog and should not lick rain puddles, roll around in the grass, eat grass but can still go crazy when he is excited, because shouldn't everyone show that much enthusiasm for the things we love? She has brought us so much joy and I know her and Owen have a special kind of bond only a little boy can have with his doggy.
