Things I don't want to forget

Finding this post was actually a treasure... I am glad I wrote some of these down :)

The moments when Owen tiptoes out of his room during break time to the bathroom in only his undies ... he went in his room with clothes on I swear

How he used to call Lexi "Haha"

When he explains to people that he calls his little sister Sunshine but Mommy and Daddy call her Addie

Owen calls an envelope a mail pocket

He calls a license plate the cars phone number (this might be my all time favorite)

He woke up one morning very upset that he didn't grow any prickers on his face

The giggles that come out of Owen -- OMG they are the cutest most infectious sound in the world -- seriously this one hasn't changed, he has the BEST laugh

The way he grabs both of my cheeks and brings my face right in for a kiss

I will always treasure every "I Love You Mom"

I like how he responds with saying "nuffin" instead of nothing

He keeps telling us he wants to go to Disney Land. We tell him that its far away and we need to save our money to go there. He proceeds to tells us, don't worry mom, its only three turns than there is the parking lot

When we were at the beach Owen goes "Look Mom I filled my bucked up with the ocean!"

I love how Addie always kicks and bucks her little legs when she wakes up and sees you

Her full mouth kisses were the best!

Addie loved to press her cheek to your cheek and that has evolved into touching you at all times if she is next to you. Personal space? Not this girl, she loves to be connected to the person she is next to

I love how she hums when she eats -- girl LOVES her food

She also loved to sneak sips of ice coffee

The love Addie has for Lexi is a one of a kind bond... I will never forgot the day Lexi stopped sleeping in our bed (which she has done since she was a puppy) and started sleeping in Addie's room right at the foot of her crib... melts my heart

Addie's love for ice which graduated to popsicles.. she had a popsicle on the way to preschool almost every time... even in the dead of winter

Addie was obsessed with bandaids between age 1.5 and 3... She had to always wear at least one if not more. Not because she had a boo-boo but because she wanted to wear them. She actually still loves bandaids
