First Sledding Adventure of 2016

January 25th marked the first real big snow in Boston, which was maybe 8 inches -- nothing compared to the storms in 2015 but we were a-okay with that! It also brought a fairly mild day in the 30s which made the perfect conditions to hit the sledding hills. Eric took Owen out during Addies nap and they had a blast!! Tested out all of the hills, took turns going down the hill together and Owen did awesome trekking up and down the hill by himself. Eric finally dragged him home for some lunch and said we had to go back out with Addie. So after a late lunch, we all bundled up and hit the hills together and we all had a blast! This year was the first year we had snow tubes for the kids and they worked awesome. The giggles coming from both Addie and Owen as they went down the hill was infectious. Addie even wanted to go down by herself, just like her big brother and LOVED it! When I met her tube at the bottom the first thing she would say was "More Peese." We only had one big wipeout with Owen - he scraped up his face pretty good, but he is okay and we will be out again!! It was a very fun family day.
