Eric did a wonderful job making sure that my first Mother's Day as a mom of two was just what I wanted. It started early by him taking my very grunty and noisy baby out to the living room at 6 am so that I could get a few uninterrupted and quiet hours of sleep. While I was sleeping he had Owen make me a very sweet card which had a little note that he dictated to Eric which I will treasure forever. I was also surprised with my fixed tiffany's wedding necklace that Owen broke when he was about 6 months old. And to top it all off we all got to go out for my favorite meal of the day -- breakfast where mom's ate free, SCORE!
After breakfast Eric kept Owen occupied, I fed Addie and then we all met up at the park to enjoy the nice 75 degree day! It was so beautiful out which was a welcome change to all of the cold, rainy and windy weather that we have been having. We made sure to soak in all of the outdoor activities that we could because who knows how long it will last.
It was truly a special day!
