Last Wedding of the Year

On Saturday, September 1st my brother married the love of his life in a beautiful hawaiian inspired wedding. They got married outside on a warm late summer day surrounded by family and friends with hanging paper lanterns, giant purple and teal pinwheels and exotic plants creating the perfect setting for a magical ceremony. Walking down to steal drums, Holly looked truly radiant as she made her way to Danny, who looked dashingly handsome waiting for his beautiful bride to be. You could see in both of their eyes just how much they love each other and how they are truly meant to be together. I am not sure their eyes ever left each others throughout the whole ceremony, except for maybe the kiss! After the ceremony we were all off to the reception held at the very tropical and unique botanical gardens on the grounds of the Roger Williams Park. It was such a beautiful setting for a wedding with little ponds of fish, the sounds of really frogs and crickets hiding in the plants, the most beautiful flowers only found in warm climates and of course all of the little touches that Holly planned to make the day just perfect.

What made this wedding different from the other four we went to this summer, was the fact that we were all in this wedding, including our always moving Owen. Because of this, it was very hard to get as many pictures I wanted to get (including any pictures with my parents/cousins/aunties and uncles/detail pictures/pictures of Owen all dressed up and of course family pictures... ugh), and I actually ended up dropping my camera mid wedding which broke it. Having Owen in the wedding was defiantly different and provided its own challenges, but he did look so handsome in his little tux and once the dancing started, you couldn't get him off the dance floor. He was a dancing machine. In fact, for how shy he is he even got in the middle of the dance circles all by himself to show off his moves. He is such a ham and certainly had us all laughing and smiling.
