Ringing in the New Year

Wow, I can't believe another year has flown by. It seems like every year goes by faster and faster then the one before. As I look back on one hell of a year, I can't help but be thankful for all of my family and friends that have helped make this year one to remember.

Let's recap:

We were blessed with 2 new babies in our group of friends (baby Kaileigh and baby Talon) who are both simply adorable, we had 4 engagements this year - Mike & Jen, Ryan & Karen and Pablo & Martha, Diane & Alex and they are all planning on tying the knot in 2010, we found out that Geoff and Giselle are expecting their first child which will be the first grandchild for the Hunter's, Mike and Molly got married in a beautiful castle up in VT, Lizzie brought home the cutest little dogie named Gracie for her mom for Christmas, my Dad overcame major heart surgery and has just recently started to get back on the slopes and is loving being able to play again, Danny passed his thesis and will be receiving his masters in Civil Engineering which is well deserved, Ricky is LOVING being out in Colorado but we still all miss him like crazy, my mom has been able to keep everyone glued together despite every curve ball thrown at her and her kids paths and Lexi celebrated her first birthday!

I think the largest milestone for Eric and I had to be our wedding. I still replay that amazing day in my head all of the time. It really was the fairytale wedding of my dreams and I really did marry my prince. I am not one to get all gushy, but it will be a day I will treasure forever and I will never forget stepping out of the horse and carriage and realizing that after spending the whole night and day apart I was finally going to get to see my Eric and all of my worries and nerves just disappeared. It was the thought of just catching up with him and telling him all about the crazy day I had already had that made everything alright and then after Eric and I got married and Eric looked at me with true love in his eyes and said "Cher, you look amazing."It was just perfect and I am so happy that all of our friends and families got to share that special day with us.

We are truly blessed and can't wait to start 2010. But until then, we need to thank our families for such a wonderful Christmas!!! Despite all of the traveling all of our Christmas's were just perfect and unforgettable and we received some very generous gifts. I tried to take more pictures then Thanksgiving, and although there aren't too many, I thought I would share them with all of you.
