What a great weekend we had! It started off on Friday night when Eric and I went out to dinner to Not Your Average Joe's with my Auntie Laurie and Uncle Ted. We had such a fantastic time catching up, swapping stories of what everyone has been up too and picking out the Hartman's Secrete Santa pairs. It was just what we needed after a crazy week a work! We can't thank them enough for taking us out to dinner and we can't wait to see them again on Christmas!
After a wonderful night, we decided to clean all day Saturday to prep the apartment for some Christmas decorations. This, may I add, is NOT one of Lexi's favorite actives as she is scared of the broom, mop, any spray bottle that makes any type of noise and most of all --- the dreadful vacuum. The whole time we were cleaning she was tucked away around a corner or hiding on the bed only to peak in every 10 minutes or so to see if we were done. It was pretty funny. After a day of cleaning Eric and I went out to dinner and came home to snow! Lexi couldn't have been happier to see snow and even though there was very little snow on the ground at this point she was running all over our front lawn licking every speck of the freshly fallen snow throwing up her stick high in the air just being one VERY happy puppy!
On Sunday we got to enjoy the first snow fall of the year with Lexi and took her to the park. She had such a fun time hiding her head in the snow, chasing and eating snowballs and of course running around like a maniac playing with her friends. I think we were there for a little over an hour and by the time we got home, we had worn her out enough to go and pick out a Christmas Tree! It was such a fun weekend!
I'm SO jealous! We're still waiting for snow. They keep predicting it but so far we haven't gotten anything but a few flakes in the air! Sounds like you had a great weekend! Can't wait to see you all in a few weeks.
