Flight of Fashion: Soaring Toward a Cure

Last night I was invited to be apart of a very special evening. Up in Danvers there is this wonderful dress boutique with drop dead gorgeous dresses called Lorraine Roy. I found out about this store through Endicott and it was one of my stops when looking for a wedding dress... Well I didn't end up getting a dress there but the super fabulous store manager Amanda asked me if I would be interested in modeling in some of their fashion shows and I said sure.

Anyways, I have been doing these fun fashion shows with them for 2 years now and I was asked again to participate in their biggest event to date - Flight of Fashion:Soaring Toward a Cure. This event was to raise both money and awareness for Ovarian Cancer and can I tell you, there were some truly unbelievably strong women there last night with heart wrenching stories which filled the house with tears! I admire any person that has taken on the battle with cancer and in my eyes they really are heroes and an inspiration to all so it was really special to be apart of this type of event.

After the raffle prizes were given out, all of the dinner plates had been scrapped clean and the awards were handed out, the night ended with a bang -- the fashion show. There were a total of 19 models -- Miss MA, Miss MA international, Miss NH international and Miss ME were apart of this mix -- modeling gorgeous dresses from Lorraine Roy. I tried to get a few pictures of some of the dresses in the show, so I hope you enjoy them!!

With the Morning Country 102.5 ladies - Lori Grande and Carolyn Kruse (before I fixed my awful hair ... what were they thinking when they did this to me?)
