Halloween Weekend

Not only were we able to celebrate Halloween this weekend, but we also got to spend time with Dr. & Mrs. Hunter and Bella and had a wonderful time! The Hunters tackled the long drive from Rochester to Boston and arrived in Belmont around 7:30 on Friday night. We let the dogs play for a bit while we ordered pizza and wings and had a lazy Friday catching up and watching Say Yes the the Dress :).

On Saturday, Eric and his Dad took Bella and Lexi to the park while his mom and I got ready for our shopping trip to the Wrenthum Outlets. By the time they got back, we had our game plan together and we were ready to go. Once we got there, the boys decided to go check out Patriots Place in Foxboro and catch some college football games while the girls tackled all of the wonderful sales and good buys that the Wrenthum Outlets had to offer! We had so much fun and bought some really great things and celebrated with lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.

After a great day of shopping we traveled back to Belmont to get ready for trick-o-treaters and to get the doggies ready for their first halloween together! We got the girls ready to visit Lexi's daycare at the end of the road to get some doggie halloween treats! Lexi dressed up as Santapaws while Bella was a bumble bee. They were sooooo sooo cute dressed up and everyone thought they were the cutest dogs on the block! We walked over to our daycare and they had the special treat of playing for a good 20 minutes in the playroom and had a wonderful time!

After we came back to the house we got ready to go out to dinner at a steakhouse in Boston called Davios. The food was great, but what made it an exceptionally good night was just being out with Eric's parents and catching up with them.

Overall, it was a very special weekend and we can't thank the Hunter's enough for making the trip out to Boston and spending Halloween weekend with us!! We love you all very much!

  1. Thank you Chera, Eric and Lexi--we had a wonderful weekend! Poor Bella was exhausted from trying to keep up iwth Lex--she slept the whole way home!! And then Dad took her for a walk, she came home and went up stairs on our bed and fell asleep ( I actually went to check on her one time and thought she was dead because I walked in our room and she didn't move and I called her name and she didn't move so I felt her, hoping that she wasn't cold and I felt her little heart beat!. She slept there until I begged her to come down and watch Desperate Housewives with me to keep me warm. She climbed up on the sofa next to me, put her head in my lap and snored the whole time! And of course I couldn't wake her at the end of the show so I watched Brothers and Sisters that I had never seen and finally woke her up at 11:00 to go to be upstairs where she slept all night!
Thanks for making it a fun weekend! Love, Us : )
