On Friday, Eric and I traveled to the Agganis Arena at BU to enjoy the Zack Brown Band Concert. To say the least, it was an AMAZING show! Not only were we about 10 feet from the stage but the band played for a good 2 hours and they put on such a good show! The lead singer reminds me a lot of Jack Black and not only is he a good singer, but he was very entertaining! I really enjoyed hearing the background stories to how all of their songs were written. It was also really cool to see all of the string instruments that the band played with. There were some that I had never seen before and it really helped keep the show interesting.
Probably the best part of the show though was the opening song, "Whatever It Is" which was our wedding song. Eric found this song before it had even made the radio and said it was just perfect for us and when I listened to it, I couldn't agree more.
I can't wait until their next cd comes out because I LOVED a lot of their new songs that they played at their show. It was such a fun night with an up and coming band!
What a great way to spend a Friday night...and Eric was right, that IS the perfect song for the two of you :)
