New York City / Giants Game

During the first weekend in December, Eric and I traveled down to NYC for the weekend. As part of his birthday present, our friend Christina graciously gave me two tickets for Eric to get to see the Giants game at their home stadium in the Meadowlands .. or as Eric refers to it, Gods Country.

Since we traveled down on Saturday we were able to go into NYC that night and met up with Cara who was such a great host and tour guide! We had dinner right outside of Penn Station, ate some amazing cupcakes at one of the best bakeries and then got to see the famous Christmas tree and ice-skating rink in Rockefeller Center! If that wasn't enough, she invited us to Dave and Busters, which if you didn't know is a big arcade for big kids and I can honestly say it was sooo much fun! Cara, we had a great time and can't wait to come back and visit!

On Sunday we actually walked to the Giants Stadium from our hotel, which was conveniently, right across the street. We had to climb a small dirt hill and walk through some great tailgating parties, but it was well worth it because Christina's family gave us tickets right behind the end zone -- THEY WERE AMAZING SEATS! On top of that we were with many of the players families which was such a fun experience, it was kind of being with celebrities -- kind of at least.

The game would have been better if the Giants won, but I guess that means we just need to come back! Thanks Christina and the DeOssie family for such a great weekend my parents for watching Lexi!
