Our first christmas celebration started in Belmont on Monday night the 22nd before we started our holiday traveling. This was not only Lexi's first Christmas but it was also me and Eric's first Christmas. We started the night off with some Chinese food and then we opened up our gifts to each other. Lexi had a great time digging out her toys from her stocking -- santa said that she was a very good girl.

So Happy!

On Tuesday we headed west to Rochester, NY to spend Christmas Eve with the Hunters. We had such a great time catching up with all of Eric's brothers and sisters -- Molly, Mike, Geoff, Giselle and Lizzie -- and Lexi had a wonderful time with her best friend Bella. It was so nice to have everyone together and it was really special to experience a Hunter Family Christmas. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hunter made my first Christmas with them very special and I am so lucky to be apart of such a loving family!

On Christmas Day we traveled from Rochester to Belchertown, MA to celebrate Christmas with my dad's side of the family. It was nice to see all of my aunts and uncles and was really special to see my cousin Matt who lives in DC so we only get to see him at Christmas time. Once we left Belchertown we traveled to my parents house to see what santa brought us. We dived right into our stockings and then opened up gifts. We got some great presents and loved all of them! And lucky for us, my mom moved Christmas Eve so we had an extended Christmas with her side of the family that went into the wee hours of the night on the 26th! We had such a great time opening up more gifts and playing Cribbage together as one very happy family! It was such a fun night.

We are so lucky to have such great families and want to thank everyone for our gifts. But more importantly, we wanted to let you know that we had the best time seeing all of our loved ones and wouldn't trade that for anything in the world!
We love you all and wish you a very Happy New Years!!!
I LOVE your blog! We too, loved seeing the three of you for Christmas and really appreciate the effort that you three made to get to Rochester for Christmas Eve. We also appreciate all of the time and effort that you put into picking out just the perfect gifts! You did a fabulous job! And most of all I think we need to thank Chera's family for letting her spend Christmas Eve with us this year! It's so wonderful to see all of your pictures. They bring back such happy memories of just a week ago. We miss you all and can't wait until we can get together again soon.
