A Pumpkin Picking We Will Go

Two weeks after our apple picking adventure we traveled to Pickard Farm in Littleton to find our perfect pumpkins for Halloween. This was our second year attempting picking our own pumpkins from the patch and Owen had a blast. We did about 3 trips around the farm before finding one that worked for Owen. His biggest obstacle --- finding one that was not dirty... Hmmm do you know that pumpkins grow on the dirt so one side is always dirty. Oh Owen. Luckily I had baby wipes on hand to clean up the perfect pumpkin fit for our Owen. Addie even got in on the action and sat with the pumpkins so mommy could get some cute pictures of our littlest pumpkin while her big brother picked out a pumpkin for his sunshine ;).

Owen took my camera and wanted to take a picture of the blue sky
And we are off on the hunt
When did he get so big?
My first pumpkin growing up way to fast
Its so hard to get him to look at the camera and give me a non forced smile so I'm so grateful when I capture a few
 Fresh pumpkins are the best
 Addie's turn!

Clearly I'm not good at picking just one
 See?
