Balloons and Cake

Owen has been super excited for his upcoming 3rd birthday. Not because he has a certain gift he is expecting, but because he knows birthdays mean balloons and cake! I'm telling you, it really doesn't take much to rock my little Owen's world, but balloons and cupcakes rank very high on this kids favorite item list. Recently, every time we go grocery shopping we walk by the cakes in the bakery and he asks me if its his birthday so he can pick out a birthday cake.

Well, since his birthday is only 3 days away from Christmas and all the craziness that goes along with it, I thought we could do a small little party with his closets friends at our house one day after work. So this past week, we went to the party store to get some decorations and balloons and the grocery store to pick out a cake, friends came over for some pizza and ta-da Owen got to celebrate his 3rd birthday and everyone involved had a great time!
