Whether he likes it or not, Owen was born into being an Endicott Gull (Yes, of all the mascots EC is represented by a Seagull -- intimidating I know). It won't matter where he ends up going to college and we will be happy where ever he chooses to go (in fact it will be a-okay with me if he doesn't choose EC because the tuition has already DOUBLED in cost since Eric and I went there -- its crazy!) but regardless he will always be our little Gull! And this weekend I brought our little Gull back to campus to support Daddy and his Volleyball boys and we had a blast.
So this is the Gull huh?
Hmm... not sure what to think
Okay, I guess it can be cool
For those of you that may not know, Eric is currently the assistant men's volleyball coach at Enidcott --- the same team he played for, for four years while at EC! He is having a lot of fun coaching and finds it very rewarding and the team they have this year is pretty solid and is really fun to watch.
This weekend was a weekend long tournament and since Owen got all messed up with the time change we decided very last minute to catch one of the games on Sunday. We had so much fun hanging out with the team, playing in the gym and watching all of the volleyball action. And best of all EC did really well and went 3-1 during the weekend. Owen had a blast and was such a little flirt with all of the college girls ooohhhing and awwwingggg at him --- yes we are in trouble come teenage years. But what he liked most was running over to Daddy after the game and giving him a big hug.
Running out some energy
Look Mom!
Watching from the track in the field house
Taking it all in
Watching the boys play
But Mom, I want to go play with them
My favorite picture of the day
Couldn't wait to run over and give him a hug
Wow, maybe Daddy will be in here one day...
