When it rains..

...we go puddle splashing! I would say we go puddle jumping, but Owen's jumps don't leave the ground yet. He just squats all of the way to the floor and stands up with a huge smile on his face, so proud of himself and will do it over and over. It is adorable to watch and I am sure once he masters jumping, puddles are going to go to an all new level of omg fun! So for now we will go puddle splashing.

I swear it seems like it has been raining for 2 weeks straight which has made us all a little stir crazy. Finally yesterday the rain seemed to let up for an hour or so and it was pretty mild out so we made our way over to the soggy park. We stopped at the tennis courts and immediately Owen's eyes lit up. All he could see were puddles everywhere and what do you do in puddle's you ask? Lean down and splash like crazy of course! It is hard to describe the delight that Owen had playing away in all of the puddles. He had so much fun and it was a nice little break from all of the rain we have been having! I just love this little man and how the simplest things in life can bring him the biggest joy!

 We had to stop at the playground before we left
