16 Months Old

Milestones:

He can blow kisses when asked

Has mastered unzipping his jacket and taking it off ... in fact he loves to unzip anything that he can

He loves to feed me his food/snacks once he has had enough. I have learned that I have to give him something that I don't mind eating because he watches my reaction like a hawk

Eric has gotten him to drink milk out of a sippy cup! We have phased out 2 out of the 3 bottles of milk that he was having daily and switched them with sippy's... this is huge!

Has started to climb on EVERYTHING ... oh no

He is also really good at throwing tantrums when we use the word "no"

He says hello, bye-bye, ut-oh, dada, and doggie

He loves to help whenever he can. He will help close doors, open/close the dishwasher, close the fridge, the gate at the top of our stairs, sweep the floor ... pretty much anything that he can help with he is ready and waiting

Has started to brush his teeth by himself. I think he pretty much just sucks on the toothbrush, but its a start

Is getting pretty good at feeding himself with a fork and spoon

He is really good at opening our doors in our apartment all by himself

Still loves Mickey Mouse Club House and sleeps with Mickey who I think is safe to say has turned into his "lovey"

Can show me where is head and belly are

Is getting pretty good at going out to eat at restaurants which is always nice for a change of scenery

Understands what we are saying and can follow directions when he wants to
