Easter Pictures

Since we all know how well pictures with Santa went ... we decided it would be better to skip the traditional Easter pictures with the mall Easter bunny and take a few pictures of Owen outside. Through one of my mom groups, there was a playdate with a local photographer looking to grow her portfolio and get more experience with kids and she was offering "mini" easter photo sessions for $20. I thought since we were skipping the mall easter bunny we might as well give it a try.

Well... to say I was less then impressed would be an understatement. She didn't have any experience taking photos of a very active toddler and pretty much just wanted to have him sit for portraits. She didn't try at all to get him to smile or laugh and he was already bored with all of my tricks ... because hey he gets to hang out with me everyday. So she didn't get one picture with him smiling which was very disappointing because during that same day I managed to get plenty. Oh well... you live and learn right?

So here are some of the pictures from the Easter picture playdate. He is still my little cutie, just wish she was able to capture his fun loving spirit better.
