A Special Day

Once again, I have been treated like a princess and truly had a wonderful birthday! From the cards, to the gifts, to the text messages, to the calls, to the facebook messages, I can't tell you how lucky I feel.  All of the people I love and care about sure do know how to make a girl feel special! But most importantly, I had a very special day with my kids at home and a great hubby who made sure I got everything I wanted.

 Freshly baked cinnamon rolls for breakfast (yes I was the only one home)

 Who needs presents ... I just need the paper, it sure does taste great!

I am so blessed and really did have a wonderful day! Owen gave me two wonderfully long naps -- feel free to do that again Owen :), Lexi was such a good girl today and didn't bark at anyone, and Eric showed me what it is like to feel like a princess. Now time to celebrate with a piece of cake and a little champagne. I love my little family!

P.S. for anyone that knows Lexi, you will get a kick out of her fortune cookie message she got today "Say hello to others. You will have a happier day." haha it was perfect for her!
