Over Memorial Day weekend we packed up the car and traveled to Rochester for Owen's first visit to Eric's parents house! We decided to tackle the 7 hour drive when Owen would normally go to bed in hopes he would sleep the whole time and lucky for us he did! It was another story when we got to Rochester -- all he wanted to do was party so the first night was a long one for mommy and daddy (I don't think he fell asleep until 4:30) but it was worth it because we had a fantastic weekend! Owen got to spend lots of time with his Grams and Papa, playing with not one but two different bouncers and a swing! We also went on a couple of walks, including one along the Erie Canal where we treated ourselves to some very yummy ice cream and sorbet. We also had a little Memorial Day Party on Saturday night where Owen got to meet some of Eric's aunts and uncles which was very special! It was a fantastic little weekend and we all had a great time!!
