Ringing in the New Year

Happy 2011! We had some very special visitors with us to celebrate our first New Year's as a little family. Eric's parents made the trip from Rochester to spend a couple of days with little Owen. It was so nice to have them here and have them be able to get to know their second grandson a little more. And I know that Owen enjoyed having them here because he actually slept pretty well at night with very little fussing -- unlike last night where he wanted to see just how loud he could cry and how long he could keep us up for all while waking up Lexi who kept jumping off the bed to go outside driving everyone nuts.

We are so grateful for such a wonderful 2010 and can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for us!

Owen heard Lexi was having surgery tomorrow and wanted to give his big sister a big wet good luck kiss! 

 Lexi is not very happy about her surgery but very happy to have her new little brother 

If you think of it, please send warm thoughts to our little Lexi love who is having knee surgery tomorrow ... I know I am going to be a mess but we will be one step closer to getting our fun loving hyper puppy back!
