Lazy Weekend

It is crazy how much time you end up having when all of your Christmas shopping has been done for a couple of weeks now. Granted, since we are not traveling anywhere this year for Christmas, we did have to get it all done early, but it still feels weird to have this much time on our hands a week before the man in the red suit makes his way around the world!

So how did we spend this weekend? We actually went over to the mall on Saturday to walk around, hoping that would speed things along, however after walking for about 2 hours ... we are still at the same place that we started. So we continued our day, ran some errands, went out to dinner and came home to watch a movie.

Today we have been having a lazy day picking up the apartment, watching the Giants Eagles game (poor Giants ... we had the game in the bag ... what the hell happened) on tv and maybe making a trip over to the grocery store later.

Overall it was a nice weekend. We wish we had more exciting news to share, but we promise we will keep you all updated as soon as there is any news to share. It has been funny how many calls and texts we have gotten asking for an update and unfortunately we haven't had anything to share. But have no fear we promise to let you all know as soon as we do. Believe me we are just as anxious as all of you! Just bear with us for a little bit longer ... we have a lot going on still with little miss Lexi, we are both still working (which reminds me how much I wish the weekend wasn't coming to an end!), there are still doctor appointments to go to and of course just staying on top of everyday life things. So our Christmas shopping may be done, but life is still keeping us very busy!
