I am still in awe over how big Kaileigh has gotten and how much of a spunky little personality she has! She is very adventurous, loves to play outside, cuddle with her mommy, loves Elmo and has a slight obsession with any kind of dog -- a girl after my own heart! And since she pretty much moves non-stop we decided to head over to the park as soon as they arrived on Thursday night to release some of her energy and let her bond with Lexi. We played on the playground for a little bit as she tried out all 4 of the different slides, explored the playgym and squealed on the swings! After she had her fun, we walked over to the other area of the park where Lexi got to play with a couple of her friends while Kailiegh got to chase after all of the doggies and throw them their balls. I think they both had a blast!

Kaileigh fell in love with Eric and shared her treats and toys with him whenever she could. She would run over to him all of the time -- You can tell she is a daddy's girl!
Kaileigh also found out how to get Lexi to like her --- they shared lots of snacks throughout her visit :) Lexi was very upset when she left!
Friday, we set out on a little adventure to go over to the American Girl store to buy Kaileigh her first Bitty Baby! I think Jamie and I may have been more excited to actually set foot in the American Girl store since when we were growing up with these dolls, you could only buy them through a catalog. I am still amazed on how big the store was and how many dolls they have now! It was two floors of pure bliss for all little girls ... and you could see that plastered on Kaileigh's face when she picked out her own little Bitty Baby to take home! She was just adorable holding it and rocking it and I can't wait to buy her more little outfits for her baby as she gets bigger :)!

On Saturday, we ended up meeting Jamie, Kaileigh and Jamie's really good friend Amy (they stayed at Amy's house on Friday night) at the Boston Aquarium. I had never been so it was great to have a reason to check it out! As soon as you walk in the doors you are greeted with the penguin's and man are they cute! All of us had a great time watching them dive into the water, swim at an astounding rate, and sleep standing up on their rocks. I think I am still in love! We also checked out a lot of cool fishies, a blue lobster, a giant sea turtle and some very neat seals.

After the Aquarium we headed over to Fanual Hall to grab something to eat. But before we got there, we took a little detour so Kailiegh could ride on a marry-go-round. She was so cute. Every time it came around she would wave like crazy and squeal with delight to Eric, Amy and I -- those are the moments that just melt your heart!
Overall it was a wonderful visit and we can't thank them enough for making the trip out to see us! We had such a wonderful time with them and can't wait until they come back ;)!
