Wedding on the Jersey Shore

What a weekend! On Saturday Eric and I traveled down to the Jersey Shore to see one of my close friends Ryan marry his sweetheart Karen in a beautiful wedding on the water. On our trip down to Jersey, we made a little detour and stopped in Hobboken to visit Carlo's Bake Shop -- you know where Buddy the Cake Boss from TLC creates all of his amazing cakes. When we got there however, there was about a 2 hour wait to get into the shop so we didn't get to go in but we did get a picture in front of the shop and got to take a little peak inside which was very cool! We will have to go back to try some of their tasty treats because they sure did look delicious!

That night we got all dolled up and celebrated Ryan and Karen getting married! Their wedding was absolutely wonderful! They got married at a yacht club right on the water. The backdrop during the ceremony was breathtaking and right before the reception started, the sunset was something you would have seen out of a movie. Karen looked stunning and you could just see how much Ryan is in love with her every time he caught a glimpse of his bride throughout the night. What was really neat was the fact that this was only our 3rd wedding out of our group of friends from high school and all of my best friends from high school as well as the guys were all at the wedding to celebrate with Ryan. We were all so lucky to be invited and had such an amazing time dancing, laughing and eating some very delicous food!
