I can't believe that it has already been a year! It is crazy to think that this time last year we were running around getting all of the last minute details together, greeting out of town guests and getting ready to celebrate at the party of a lifetime! This time last year Eric and I declared our love for each other surrounded by family and friends and promised to spend the rest of our lives together. This time last year we were getting ready to go on our amazing honeymoon to St. Thomas and vowed to go back to at least a couple of the neighboring islands (someday soon I hope)! This time last year I was a nervous wreck just thinking about the dunting task of walking up the aisle and not passing out -- it had nothing to do with the marrying part of the ceremony, I was WAY ready for that, but for those that do not know me I have had a history of passing out at certain events and it was the only thing I was nervous about. However, that feeling magically went away as soon as I got in the horse drawn carriage with my dad because the feeling of being nervous was taken over by pure excitement to finally see Eric and talk to him. See, we did everything traditional and spent the night before our wedding apart and didn't talk to each other until we met at the alter. I didn't think it would have an effect on me -- we have spent nights apart before -- but looking back at it, that was the longest we had ever gone without talking to each other. So when the moment finally came, the only thing that I could think of was everything that I wanted to tell Eric. That is probably one of the best memories that I had of the whole day.
It is amazing how fast time flies and changes ... and as we get ready to embark on our next adventure I just want to share how much I love my husband, my best friend and my confidant! Happy "Paper" Anniversary!!

Happy Anniversary! What an exciting year you've had - and it's just the beginning! Congratulations!
