Since Friday night, the downpour rain has NOT stopped. I mean every time we stepped outside this weekend it was like stepping into a hurricane. The rain moved like blankets across the sky and just when you thought "there can't be much more rain out there to fall" more and more buckets poured in. We weren't all that upset that the weekend was a washout, although I am sure if Lexi could talk she would say otherwise. But much to my dismay, the rain is still pouring harder then ever on this Monday morning and waking up to that was like getting punched in the stomach. Is it too much to ask for a little sunshine? Mr. Weatherman, we put up with rain all weekend, can you give us just a little bit of a break? How about we meet in the middle and you can still bring on the rain, but lets stop this torrential downpour rain that gets you soaked after being outside for less than a minute. Okay, how about this, you have the rain miraculously slow down at around 1 pm today so I can take Lexi to the very muddy park during my lunch break so I don't have an absolute maniac of a puppy when we get home from work tonight? Hey a girl can dream right?
Rain, rain, please just GO AWAY!
Our rain has finally slowed down to a drizzle, but the weatherman just said it's still nasty in Boston....A real N'oreaster (without the snow!) Sunshine tomorrow and the rest of the week!
