Weekend Fun

Working all week really does make your weekends feel that much more important! They are the extra days in the week that are dedicated to just you, your friends and your family to do whatever you wish to do and that's why I think I live and strive for them so much ... if only everyday could be a Saturday, wouldn't that just be magical?

Anyway, we have tried to make the most out of our weekends even with this cold weather. Last weekend we took many trips to the park with Lexi so she could play with all of her friends and wear her out a little bit so we could have a couple of date nights! Saturday night Eric and I went bowling and had a blast! Although he beat me both times, I did break 100 so that was good enough for me :). On Sunday we had the treat of going to see Jeff Dunham in Lowell. I got these tickets for Eric for Christmas and boy were they worth it! He and his puppet friends are hysterical on his comedy central specials and you tube clips, but they are beyond funny in person. I don't think either of us stopped laughing for the whole 2 hour show --- it was AWESOME! Not only did we have floor seats, but he had a lot of new material which was a great surprise! I do love them puppets :).

This past weekend, Eric was able to catch an Endicott Volleyball Men's game in Boston with his good friend Dan while I took Lexi to the park and then ran a few errands. That night, my best friend Kara came up to visit and we took her out to dinner to Not Your Average Joe's, played some competitive WII Sports Resorts Games and had a lot of laughs! It was so great to see her and want to thank her so much for making the trip up to Boston from CT!
