As an annual tradition we kicked off our Easter festivities with the annual easter egg hunt in Belmont. It's always a very popular free event held by the town so it gets a little crazy and despite the thousands of eggs scattered throughout the field and playground it lasts for a total of 4 minutes -- these kids are great at collecting eggs. So in a blink the event is over but that okay because we always have fun and this year Addie got to participate for the very first time. Owen also experienced running with the big kids and managed to collect his 10 eggs which was awesome. Eric and Owen fought it out in the field while I took Addie to the playground designated for toddlers. At first Addie had no idea what to think... she just watched in awe as all the kids grabbed eggs and put them in their bags/baskets. Once I showed her what to do, she was all about collecting the eggs and had fun picking them up and putting them in her basket. It was really fun to watch.
As an added bonus we ran into Owen's best friends Ashton and Josephine! It was a fun surprise to run into friends and everyone had a great time.

All I can is laugh at this picture. This was honestly the best picture of the three of them - clearly they were much more interested in the candy they got in there eggs :)
