We Have A Walker!

Since she was born all Addie has wanted to do is catch Owen anyway she can. When she started crawling, she knew to go after his beloved stuffed dog - Chase - which would instantly put him in a tailspin because he didn't want "baby breath" on it. But Addie figured out by grabbing Chase she would immediately get Owen's attention -- not bad right?

So, it's not any surprise to us that just 3 days short of her 10 month birthday she took her very first steps! She was a determined little one trying so hard to master walking. She had mastered standing on her own and walking while pushing toys around, but doing it all by herself was a bit of a challenge. Then one morning she stood up, took three steps, shocked herself and fell down, and was like "Whoa what did I just do?"

Later that night we took a video capturing her very first steps at 9 months old. Enjoy :)
