Oh Christmas Tree

Right after thanksgiving we made our annual trek over to Home Depot to pick out our Christmas Tree. This year was especially fun because Owen totally understands Christmas and can't wait for Santa to come. He has already told me that I do not have enough Christmas decorations and is constantly pointing some out when we are out and about at Target saying we NEED them for our house. He is truly a little elf and I must say his spirit really does make Christmas so magical.

So when we went to Home Depot he was very excited! We perused the aisles a few times, danced with the trees to see all angles to make sure there wasn't a huge bold spot and found the perfect little tree no taller than me! Owen assisted Daddy in putting it on our car roof and we brought it home. Owen was so excited put the lights on and kept talking about putting the star on top when we were all done. Eric unfortunately has been super busy with work and has had to travel a lot so the decorating was left up to me and my two little elves.
