Imagination

One thing, among many, that I love about Owen is his imagination. He is a very creative, intuitive little boy and he often shows it when he thinks no one is looking. When he is playing independently with his trucks, trains, stuffed animals (aka his "friends"), little figurines, I hear the most lovely little stories and adventures that they are going on together. It always brings a smile to my face and I often ask myself, where does he learn this stuff. One of these times, I will have to catch it on video.

He loves to bring his "friends" along on our adventures, in this case he asked me to take a picture of his puppy wearing his sunglasses --- silly puppy as Owen would say
He told me that he put the baby down for a nap, when I came to find out what he meant this is what I found ... such a little sweetie
 Playing trains
At the moment, he is working on building towers and tunnels with his blocks on his tracks

Lately, he has also been using his imagination while playing with his blocks to build some very impressive towers. These towers aren't your typical towers with just a couple blocks stacked on each other, but well thought out towers that Eric and I are constantly saying, did you see what he just built? Maybe someday he will be an engineer -- who knows right?

"Mom, look at my city"
 More towers

Another favorite activity is playing dress-up with his construction, firefighter, doctor, superhero cape, and train costumes. He loves to dress-up and get into whatever the character deems is appropriate.

Time to build!

He sure does love to play and really does have a very curious and outgoing imagination that I love to see and watch blossom!

P.S. When did he get so big? Slowwww dowwwnn
Such a big boy
Short hair, he looks so big now
The furbaby wanted to get in the post too
