Aquarium Visit

This past week, Owen and I got a special treat when the Savva ladies came up to visit us! We don't get to see them often so this was super special and what better way to celebrate their visit then a trip to the new england aquarium!

All of the kids were so excited to see animals and fishies and couldn't wait to get to the aquarium. So we squeezed them in the car and we were off to see the fishes!

It was so much fun to see Owen, Kaileigh and Brianna get so excited to see the penguins, seals, stingrays, the big fish, the little fish, the crabs and of course Myrtle the turtle. They loved bopping from one exhibit to the next and having their own little conversations with the sea creatures. Their little squeals of delight were so cute and despite the aquarium not being too big, it was just the right size for these little peanuts.

Checking out the penguins -- they made the kids laugh the most
 Hi Bri!
Owen took a picture of the sleeping turtle
Mom, let me take a picture of the turtle
 All the peanuts together
The possibilities are endless Owen, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise
The first time a fish the size of Owen swam by him in the tank, Owen was a little spooked. It wasn't until we throughly inspected the glass that he trusted me the monstrous fish will not get him
 Checking out the starfish
Brianna trying to reach the crabs
In the crabs touch tank -- of all of the sea creatures, visiting the crabs was his favorite part
 We named this guy Bill
 Having so much fun
All together checking out the sea creatures
 At the stingray/shark touch tank
He had lots of fun trying to tough a stingray
 They all loved this exhibit
 The sleeping baby turtle

It was so special to be able to spend the day with Jamie, Kaileigh and Brianna and we can't thank them enough for coming up to visit!! Owen is already asking when his friends can come back to play!!
