A Little DIY Project

Recently, we have started to work on changing Owen's room over into a sharable space since both he and the new baby will be sharing a room. How will it work out? No one knows, but hopefully they will both be happy little roommates in a very cozy space.

Since space is an issue, we have been doing our best to find the best way to store things and keep things organized. One thing we knew needed to go was our changing table. Although it has been great, it was just too big and we really needed to find a small dresser with some drawers to put cloths in and not have wide open shelves found on the changing table. Lucky for us, we stumbled across a dresser on sale on craigslist for $30. It wasn't the right color, but it was real wood and had potential to become something just perfect for us. So we picked it up, bought a refinishing kit at home depot, a couple of new knobs and Eric went to work. Lots of layers later, we have a new dresser that doesn't match perfectly, but it will work great for the kids room and to top it off, the changing pad fits great on top!
