I wasn't sure how it was going to go and to be honest I don't think I have flown a kite since I was little in my backyard with my dad but just like riding a bike, it all comes back to you. We untangled the kite and got it ready and off it went. Owen asked to hold it and what do you know, he was a natural and was so thrilled to see the kite flying up in the sky and he was doing it all by himself. He had pure delight streaming across his face and I think we were at it for a good 40 minutes before he had enough. Let's just say, it was a fun first for all of us!

Flying High
A couple of weeks ago I took Owen over to the park to fly a kite for the very first time. Luckily the park right by our house is always windy so when Owen found his kite and asked if we could go fly it I said sure, we can try. So off we went.
