Renuion

The summer activities continued last weekend when we traveled to Westfield to celebrate my mom's family reunion. For those of you that may not know, my mom comes from one of those big irish families that dominate a large part of the city of Westfield. In fact, growing up, whenever we were out a local sporting events, or town events we always ran into someone that my mom, thus we, were related too. It is pretty crazy actually. And the best part, these people are known for having a good time.

So we all met up at a local picnic area in Westfield, and had a great time. There was about 200 people that came out to celebrate with lots of yummy food, a live band that kept Owen entertained and lots of laughs. To top it off, the weather was perfect! Although it doesn't happen very often, it was nice to be able to get together with my mom's side of the family and we were happy that we got to attend -- I only wish I took more pictures!
