First Haircut

We unexpectedly had a nice little heatwave roll through New England this past weekend and after three days straight of almost 100 degree days and 80 degree nights, our little Owen was one little sweat ball and both Eric and I realized it was time to get him a little trim.


I have cut Owen's hair a few times because I was waiting until he was old enough not to freak out and cry if someone else cut his hair and then ended up with a buzz cut. See, I love his curls and I am not ready for them to go just yet. I mean, his hair is pretty awesome.

So, on June 3rd we all went to this cool kid only hair place called Snippits. Since it is just for kids, there were bubbles, animal crackers, computer games, videos, storybooks and a prize token that you turn in when you are all done for a prize. Owen seemed to like it and didn't freak out at all and he did great! And although his hair is shorter, it still has some curls and it looks like the curls will stay :).
