After Holly's shower, Eric and I headed into Boston and met up with newlyweds Cara and Rob to go to a Red Sox game! Now I hadn't been to a game for two years or so and Eric and I have maybe had a total of 3 or 4 date nights since Owen was born so when Cara called me and invited us to the game we were ecstatic and jumped at the opportunity! Not only were we going to get to go to a game but we were also meeting up with great friends, and it doesn't get much better than that. Both of the boys were champs coming along since Rob is a Yankee's fan and Eric is an Orioles fan and the Red Sox were playing the Blue Jay's -- I guess that's what makes them good husbands, they both know how to keep their MA wives happy ;). But regardless of your favorite baseball team, going to a game at Fenway is always memorable. Although they didn't win, we still had a great time and can't wait to see Rob and Cara again.
