Back on July 14th Eric and I headed down to Hartford CT to watch one of my closets friends marry her best friend. When we arrived to the 2 story church, the setting was just perfect to set the scene for the love story that was about to unfold. It was warm, fans were blowing, we were clutching our water bottles especially made for this event and slowly the aisles filled with both the bride and grooms family and friends. The men made their way down the isle, Rob looking handsome and maybe a little anxious but that all melted away once the bridesmaids had settled in the front of the church and the back doors of the church slowly opened to reveal his princess hand in hand with her father - Mr. Bill. Cara was breathtakingly beautiful in her blush pink princess gown, dark hair scooped up to the side and holding flowers that complemented her whole look. She had a smile on her face that was infectious to anyone she made eye contact with she was so happy. As I watched her and Rob at the front of the church, you could tell that they were in their own little bubble, just the two of them, hand in hand - they were really meant to be and so in love which was even more apparent once it was time to seal their love with a kiss that really looked like something from the end of a fairytale book. Ahh, it was perfect.

Mr. and Mrs Higle! Yes she is a Mrs. H too ;)
After the church we headed pretty much right around the corner to the Society Room which continued the feel of an elegant wedding. The room was adorned in dark wood but the tables and flower arrangements made it look like we were going to a ball. It was breathtaking as we walked in. The first level had tables that surrounded the dance floor and a staircase that lead you to a balcony which was were we got to sit. We were at the table right next to the stairs which ended up to be very neat because when the time came, Cara and Rob magically appeared next to us. In true royalty fashion they were going to make their entrance walking down the stairs - it was so perfect. They were hand in hand observing their family and friends mingling and gearing up for the announcements when we captured them stealing a kiss from each other.
This was a really fun photo booth inside a volt

I loved this wishing tree idea. You wrote a wish for the couple on a leave and then hung it on the tree ... so neat
