Time to Play Inside

I am not the biggest fan of snow (maybe because we had about 3 feet of it within three weeks all during Owen's first month of life and week #2 of recovery for Lexi) but I was looking forward to some white stuff this winter for Owen. I want to make a snowman with him, show him what a snowball is, go sledding and maybe even make a snow angel or two. But this just doesn't seem like the winter to do it. We were forecasted to get some snow overnight but all we got was rain, sleet, a little snow and a lot of slush. This is not ideal sledding conditions, nor is it the right weather for a walk through the park. But my little man just doesn't understand why we couldn't go for a walk today and play on the swings ... so I had to think fast and come up with another alternative. Luckily, right around the corner from us there is an indoor playground. We have never been and I have heard mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a chance.

When we walked it in, it was nice and big with lots of toys all spread around two different playrooms. It was busy, but with all of this open space, it didn't feel crowed and Owen could explore without running into too many other germie kids. The toys were clean for the most part (although I could just feel all of the new germs crawling all over us) and Owen had a fun time exploring. He played on some toy cars, crawled through a tunnel, had his first experience with a bounce house, played in a ball pit and just had a run time running in all of the open space. We were there for an hour (and then scrubbed our hands clean before we left) and he seemed to have a good time.
What should I check out first?
 Pushing the car around
 Playing with the toy computer
 Ball pit!
 Wanna play?
Having a blast in the bounce house

Thank goodness for this little spot because it saved us on this wash of a lack of snow day. Looks like we will probably be back.
