Tubby Time

Tubby time for Owen = the same level of excitement that Lexi has when she gets to go to the park. He LOVES the tub and no matter what kind of mood he is in or how grumpy he may be as soon as we utter the words "is it tubby time?" a smile crawls across his face and he turns into a totally different little boy.

Now that he has started understanding things that we say, tubby time has gotten very sweet. Most nights we play in the living room all together before starting the night time routine. When Owen's little devil horns start to poke through his little curls we all know its time to start to get ready for bed. I ask Owen if it's tubby time and he always walks right over to the door that leads to his bedroom to get undressed. When I open the door he squeals happily and walks into his room ... where most times I have to capture him to get him undressed. Once he is undressed I put him back down on the floor, place a towel on his head and he happily walks from his bedroom to the bathroom naked but happy as can be. It brings a smile to my face every night and more for me, I had to capture this little moment on video, because I don't want to forget how much tubby time means to our little Owen.

(He was very grumpy so he had a binky in his mouth and didn't get as excited as he normally does ... but you will see a little smile when he gets to the door :))
