10 Months Old

Time sure is flying and Owen is now 10 months old! He is a very busy happy healthy little baby that keeps us all on our toes. I can't believe in 2 months he will be 1... now that is just crazy talk!

Owen's Stats:

Weight: 20 lbs 9 oz
Height: 28.5 inches
Eyes: They look hazel to me this month
Diapers: Size 3 ... but it looks like he will be in size 4 for at least night time diapers soon
Cloths: Just starting to break out the 12 month cloths but 9 month pants still fit him

Milestone Highlights:

Loves to flip through books on his own. He will grab any book and flip through the pictures ... although most of the time the book is upside down it is still very cute

He cruises around on everything now and has even had a few times where he will stand unassisted all by himself for a few seconds

Loves to be outside and really enjoys our daily walks

One of his new favorite toys is his new red car which he gets to ride around in outside! He is so funny when he is in it ... always flashing smiles, waving and trying to honk the horn

We upped his food and he now eats 3.5 oz of baby food and a 1/4 cup of baby cereal every morning and night and for lunch he gets 3.5 oz of baby food. He also gets snacks at least twice a day and I try to give him bites of whatever I am eating. So far, as long as the bites are little enough he seems to like food :).

He goes to 2 different playgroups a week and seems to like going. At one of the playgroups he gets to play with a parachute and he loves it!! He is in heaven crawling on top of hit and getting to go under it. It is so adorable.

He loves all electronic things and would much rather play with/chew on my phone, the remote, the camera, ect ... it is always a battle when he gets his paws on these and we have to take them away

Can wave bye-bye and give high fives

Understands no, "yucky" and can find where Lexi and Daddy are

Plays peek-a-boo

Loves to talk ... now if only we could understand him :)

Most days he protests his second nap ... he is slowly trying to transition to just one nap a day ... let's see if he will win or maybe I can convince him that 2 naps a day are a good thing

He goes to bed around 7:30-8 and wakes up between 6:30-7:30 and usually wakes up once a night to eat a bottle.
