Love him
And when we got home he wanted to make sure to show me what new skills he mastered at Grammie's house ... TROUBLEMAKER!
While Owen was spending the night at my mom's house, I was having a little adventure of my own trying to meet Eric down in Nashville for a wedding. He had traveled down on Friday because he was in the wedding and had a lot of scheduled events that he had to attend. I decided I would meet him on Saturday and pray that my flights went off on time to ensure I would make it. Well, my first flight went off on time and it looked like I was going to make my second flight and be able to explore Nashville a little before heading off to the wedding. HAHA ... that would have been nice. Instead about an hour into our flight the captain came over the intercom and asked if any medical personal on the plane could please see one of the flight attendants... Apparently a man had passed out and luckily we had 5 doctors stand up to help. The flight attendants were rushing around and the doctors were still storing but the buzzing from the passengers were positive vibes and it was looking like everything was going to be alright. About 10 min later things got crazy again with people going up and down the isle, the medical kit was brought out, the attendants got on the phone and broke out the manual and the caption came over the intercom again to tell us that we would be making a medical emergency landing in Baltimore -- oh great. The man had apparently passed out again and turned blue and he wife also passed out because she couldn't handle the stress of watching her husband go in and out. They both ended up to be stabilized before we landed but we still had to land so they could get whisked off to the hospital. We ended up landing in the middle of what looked like an abandoned terminal ... they brought out stairs so the man could be escorted to the ambulance and we were all told to stay in our seats. A long hour later we were back in the air ... only now I knew there was no way I was going to make my connecting flight (me and 70% of the plane). Luckily when we landed, Delta had rebooked my flight and my new flight time would get me into Nashville at 4:50 -- the wedding was at 5:30. Great that meant it was time to do hair and make-up in the terminal. Yes, I broke out my curling iron and plugged it into one of the phone plug towers they have mixed in the seats with everyone else waiting to get on the plane. I was that girl and I was okay with it because as soon as I landed it was time to get in my dress and off to meet Eric at the church.
Everything else went off ok -- (our close friends were my lifesavers and actually drove to pick me up at the airport because Eric was in the wedding and I would have had to take a taxi) and I did make it to the wedding in time and it was a wonderful wedding. I had never experienced a southern wedding and this one was a good one to go to as my first. We are so happy for Brandon and Elizabeth and glad we could both celebrate their special day with them.

This was neat --- each of the bridesmaids gathered around the cake to pull out a charm with a word on it and it was suppose to tell them the new path their lives were going to take
