Owen's Stats:
Weight: 20 lbs 2 oz (43 percentile)
Height: 28 1/2 inches (60%)
Head Circumference: 47 cm (90%)
Diapers: Size 3
Cloths: 9 month (he seemed to slow down in the weight department probably because of all his moving and grooving!)
Eyes: Slowly turning brown but still have a very pretty blue ring around the outer edges of his eye
What Owen has been up to:
He has mastered crawling and can even run crawl when he really wants to get something .... especially Lexi's kongs which he knows he is not suppose to have
While he is upright he can also cruse from one thing to the next ... so he can go from one end of the coffee table to the next all while walking
He loves to say da-da and says it whenever you prompt him to say anything. For example I can say "Say mama" his response "da-da" ... Doggie "da-da" ... Bottle "da-da"
He eats breakfast, lunch and dinner and we try to have him eat some snacks too.
This past month also marked the beginning of separation anxiety and let me tell you I will be happy when this stage passes. He is alright with other people if I am not in sight but as soon as he sees me ... he has to come to me otherwise it is meltdown city. This has not been a fun milestone to say the least.
He has gotten his two bottom teeth! No more gummy smile -- he really is growing up :(
Plays peekaboo :)
Will come when I call him and fallows me everywhere just like a little puppy dog
Loves to play will balls ... he rolls them, throws them and can kick them. He also loves to bang on anything or bang toys together, basically loves to make as much noise as he can.
When I say no he does understand ... does he always listen to me ... well that's another story ;)
Some things he loves: his fisher price house, stackable rings, vetch walking toy, going for walks, playing outside, swinging, doggies, eating in his high chair, playing in his crib, talking baby talk, looking in the mirror and saying hi to the baby
Overall he is a very happy healthy little boy that loves to play, giggle and follow Lexi around whenever she lets him. Happy 9 months baby boy!
