What a fun filled long weekend we had! On Saturday Eric and I left my parents house for a Hunter picnic at Uncle Bob's house on Lake Canandaigua just outside of Rochester NY. We had sooo much fun! The weather was perfect and the setting couldn't have been more beautiful. There were about 21 family members there enjoying great food, good company and lots of fun moments. The boys played a game of washers, there were many trips out on Uncle Bob's beautiful boat and we had a fun time fishing at the end of the dock. Surprisingly enough, there were a total of 6 fish that were caught and one that got away (Eric and I's big blue whale) and Liam was the big winner catching a very large small mouth bass! It was lots and lots of fun. To end the night, everyone around the lake placed flares facing the lake forming a "ring of fire" and fireworks went off to signify a great ending to the summer. It was really neat to see and we were so glad that we made the trip!
On Sunday we left Rochester and made the drive back to my parents house for a Hartman picnic. There were about 15 people at my parents house and we had a great time seeing and catching up with everyone. On top of that, Lexi made another new friend named Maddie and they had sooo much fun together! They were the perfect match and wore each other out. It was so nice to see everyone and we were glad that we could make both of the family picnic's!
Fantastic Slideshow!!! (Dad and I have been there!) xoxo Mom
