Weekend Trip to Long Island!

This weekend we all ventured down to Long Island to visit my Uncle Robbie and Uncle Jim's house in the little town of St. James. Their house is nestled down in a quite wooded neighborhood right on the harbor. It is really a beautiful place and the history that surrounds them is truly amazing. While we were down their they took us on a little walking tour of the local mansions, cooked a great dinner and brunch and we even got to meet a few of their Long Island friends, which was a lot of fun!

But most importantly, during our trip we got to sit down with my Uncle Robbie and work on our wedding invitations. My Uncle Robbie, who is a very talented and distinguished graphic designer, has graciously offered to design our wedding invitations. We are both thrilled to be able to have him create our wedding invitations and find it extremely special that he has agreed to take on this large task with us and can’t wait to see how they turn out!

Here is a picture of Lexi on the ferry. She was such a good girl and really liked to people watch. She would sit on our laps and just watch people -- it was really pretty funny
