Virgina Visit - Noah's 5th Birthday

We always love getting the cousins together because they all get along so well. So when we were thinking of our summer visit, we decided to make sure we would be there for Noah's 5th birthday!! We have always missed out on his birthday parties and since Owen loves Noah so much we thought being there to celebrate turning the big 5 would be super special and we were right!!

Originally the party was scheduled for Saturday (so the first full day of our visit) but the weather was predicting thunderstorms so the party was pushed to Sunday. Still worked great for us so we were good with whatever! Plus with an extra free day the kids had a great time just hanging out and playing. One of the highlights of the day was getting to watch one of the horse races and all of the kids got super into it - it was adorable!!

Sunday came and it was finally time to celebrate Noah's birthday!! Giselle and Lizzie did a great job putting together a horse racing themed party -- Noah's absolute favorite thing. The cake was a race track and they turned nutter-butter cookies into horse heads to go onto of cupcakes --- super adorable. Each of the kids got a pool noodle transformed into a horse and had horse races in the front yard. I think the highlight for everyone though was the horse piñata which Owen still talks about to this day -- clearly unforgettable!
